FIFA 17 New Gameplay Trailer, Screenshots And Journey Details – collectionfifatips.com

FIFA 17 is finally on the revelation cards and there are very large changes in the game that would would give far-better gaming experience this year as the game is available in the market.

The change to the Frostbite engine had already been announced earlier and a real, true to life action can be seen in the new gameplay trailers and the thrilling screenshots.

As has been discussed, there are so many gameplay advances that include new run types, newer skill moves, new tackle techniques and nearly three times more animations than FIFA 16.

The largest makeover is felt in game set-pieces that would include a new methodology for taking corners and rid of the vague hopes after making a hit. Also, the Penalties have received an overhaul that allows the player to run after the ball from different angles while adjusting chase speed.

And amazingly what’s more is that you can move along the touchline while making a throw and even fool your opponents by faking a throw.

The biggest overhauling in the game is felt through the new career mode known as “the Journey”, wherein one can play as Alex Hunter, a new upcoming star of the Premier League backed by a long line of footballers.

The experience is very intriguing and  starts from the back of the stadia in the dressing room, tunnels and Alex’s home when he was just a kid.

After the match is over, you would be required to answer a set of questions with the help of a conversation wheel derived from the Mass Effect and Bioware- with multiple choices given from which the right response needs to be selected.

There is also a training hub giving you drills everyday for a resultant growth. And making the gameplay journey even more fantastic will be the vetting of the script by stars Marcus Rashford, Harry Kane, Marco Reus and Deli Alli.

collectionfifatips | 7 Important Additions To FIFA 17: New Story Mode and Frostbite Engine

The coming season of FIFA will feature two new game-changing additions along with a couple of supplemental tweaks, updates and upgrades. The pre-release promotions are keeping the marketing team and sponsors on their toes. The four faces on the box who are the ambassadors of FIFA 17 this year- James Rodriguez, Eden Hazard, Anthony Martial and Marco Reus have actually been the consultants in the development of the new game.

7 Important Additions To FIFA 17

There are actually seven influential additions to the FIFA squad.

1. FIFA 17 gets Frostbite Engine

The frostbite game engine that has been developed by EA Dice is responsible for the stunning graphics seen in the Battlefield series. A host of EA’s new big releases namely Battlefield 1: Mirror’s Edge, Catalyst and Mass Effect: Andromeda would be powered using this technology besides FIFA 17. FIFA has been working on the new engine from the past two years and is now super-excited on the new experiment an d the results it would bring.

collectionfifatips | 7 Important Additions To FIFA 17: New Story Mode and Frostbite Engine

“We’ve been working on this transition for over two years – it was a massive undertaking,”  Aaron McHardy, the producer told during a demo of the game. “It allows authentic, true-to-life action; we’re one step closer to making the game look real. Frostbite comes with a brand new rendering engine and a new toolset, allowing us to really bring the visuals to life.”

The matches would be now seen having new lighting and better animation during the series. Yes, but Frostbite is not a football simulation engine like all the previous ones. Moreover it is a general purpose technology. This would make FIFA 17 move to unrelated locations in newer pitches just as in an action-adventure. The overall effect of the engine on the game needs to be seen.

2. Story Mode:Journey

The most fascinating addition is the role playing adventure set within the FIFA is the Journey wherein a player signs in Alex Hunter who is going to start his career in a club chosen by the player. Among the games, there are scenes from Alex’s childhood and later life along with rival and friend Gareth Walker. Alex’s moves and utterances are chosen by the player at key-decision-making points.Would he be a modest or an arrogant player? The choices by the player would effect the description of the gameplay and affect Hunter’s relationship with teammates and the manager.

collectionfifatips | 7 Important Additions To FIFA 17: New Story Mode and Frostbite Engine

Al the moves have a profound effect on the match plot. If you gets sent-off, you would be summoned by the manager to his office and furnish an explanation for the same. While obviously scoring a goal in a tense league match that is fateful for the result  would land you in an boasting interview with a television specialist after the match. The mode calls for trait points throughout the run and these be used to boost the attributes in any of the 15 areas like defending, dribbling or passing. Training in the special skills will affect the players development.

It is very much possible that FIFA’s development team had a consultation with Bioware on the organization of the  narrative-based games. Additional seasoned players like Harry Kane, Dele Ali and Marcus Rashford were also consulted in order to derive a right content of the game.

3. New Active Intelligence System

EA has tremendously improved the positioning technology which would make AI teammates can take more shrewd action. This is due to the understanding of graded differences of space. Prior to this, gaps in the opponents teams were thought to be best options available to run into and staying away from places positioning teammates was the norm. FIFA 17 would be characterized by creating gaps behind incoming defenders in place of automatically running forwards.“Your teammates are going to work hard,” said McHardy. “They’ll make more runs that are better and more specific to what your side is trying to achieve. There won’t be as many defensive stalemates.” Longer runs would be made by AI players that could even mean slipping out of position and diagonal runs would be used based upon the incoming pass angle.
Earlier, the players looked busier while making frenzied in and out movements in the football yard. it was definitely difficult to work out for a few matches. The new moves should result in more number of genuine runs and the animation should be able to indicate more complex moves.

4. New Attacking Techniques

Fifa 16 had featured “pass with purpose” that allowed midfielders perform a short forward pass along the field. The same functionality has now been imparted into the keeper throws, through balls and shooting. The new downward header system and driven finishes system, the power of the strike can be increased by upholding the button and tapping on it again in order to keep the ball low.
This would allow the Steven-Gerard styled shots to be directed to the corners. But the hands-on allowed the shot can be powered by turning on your back towards the goal and then quickly turning and letting the shot loose.

5. Re-writing Of set Pieces

The new freekick mechanic allows the movement of the player around in front of the ball that makes way for tremendous new possibilities like striking the ball through other means than the foot. The camera is continuously placed behind the player so that an account of the trajectory is continuously available to the player. There has also been a restructuring of the penalties with anew kicking mechanic and ability to vary the run-up. The goal may be approached at a slow pace or make a looped or curved loop to deceive the keeper.

The re has been complete makeover in the corner kicks. The taker gets a knapsack to help in aiming for the target that provides greater accuracy and a switch control for receiving players so that they can be better positioned. “We’re seeing more scrambles in the box now,” said McHardy. “We’re seeing goals like the one Ramos scored in the Champions League final, with the ball played in from a distance, a little flick on, then someone gets a toe to it right in front of the keeper.”

As for the throw-ins, players can now run near to the touch-line and  make up and down movements and make fake throws to mislead the opponents.

6. Overhauling Of Physical Play

A pushback technology that takes control of their  sense of balancing during melees with opponent players. The system would be employing real-time contact interactions suggesting the uniqueness of each contact which has realistic consequences for the characters involved. For instance, if a player in control of the ball pushes back an opponent can gain extra balance and snub off the opponent. This is a level above the previous feature and offers an impact much greater than the physical collision detection system rendering control a greater part of the system. With physical controls placed exclusively in the left trigger, the conservative shielding and jostling mechanics have been changed. Additionally, there is a new shielded dribbling system that allows 360 degree movement for shielding the ball. shoulder-to shoulder tackles, step-ins and seal-outs are also present on the trigger. These are circumstantial and an intelligent system knows how to respond to these.

The left trigger also allows the players to control an dribbling down contested long-distance balls. “Up until now, if the ball was in the air, as long as one player pressed header, both had to go in and head it, you weren’t able to bring the ball down to your feet. It brings a whole new element to our in-air play. If you have a big string player upfront, you can take advantage of that and try to bring the ball down to start the attack from there.”

You can also collide with the goalkeepers and if you make them drop the ball, you might avail a free kick, though a sneaking goal might have one percent chance.

7. Focus on Player Distinctiveness

Now EA Sports want’s to reflect the unique skills and personalities of the players in the real sport. As a result, the game is going to make full-body capture of the performance of the players enhanced with new facial animation technology. There are three times more animations than FIFA 16 and the development team has done away with many of the first-touch errors.

“We’ve been working a lot on the fluidity of sprint dribbling,” says McHardy. “We want to make sure we bring back the edge of players like Christiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale, players who have a lot of pace. Last year we felt we lost the edge of those players, we’re bringing it back, but we want to do it in a way that we don’t break that midfield build-up.”

There are still many unanswered questions and EA has made up its mind on providing the answers on the game and mode a little later. Though there are hints of graceful simulations incorporated with the  short hands-on functionality being given to players. The extra time needed on pitch and newer tweaks are still being worked on.

Whether the fans would prefer the narrative campaign in simulation would govern the success of the new up-gradation. It may work out since the players are more involved in personal action. Or it could just be a disaster show like the Need For Speed series. Time will answer this Big Question.

FIFA 17 vs PES 2017 – which will come out on top?

September is looming, and we all know what that means. It’s battle of the football games, and once again FIFA 17 and PES 2017 are going head to head. But this year could perhaps be the toughest battle yet, with both titles really bringing their A-game in 2017.

We’ve been lucky enough to get early access to both titles and have put the two games against each other in order to give you some idea of which one you should spend your heard-earned dosh on this year.

FIFA 17 vs PES 2017 – which will come out on top

The FIFA 17 release date has been confirmed for September 27, 2016. There’s no word on when PES 2017 will arrive, but we expect it will launch around September too, as is the norm for Konami’s football sim.

EA Sports has made significant graphical improvements with FIFA this year by moving the series over to its Frostbite Engine. That’s the same graphics engine that powers games like Battlefield 4, Battlefield 1 and Star Wars: Battlefront.

What that means for FIFA 17 is more realistic animations, enhanced facial and motion capture, along with triple the amount of animations to make your match feel even more exciting.

You’ll also experience better lighting – playing Old Trafford at night was pretty impressive – along with gaining access to brand new areas of the pitch, such as changing rooms and the tunnels for the pre- and post-match interviews.

As for PES 2017, it’s running on the same FOX engine it moved to in 2016 – the same engine that powers Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain.

This year, expect to see stadia revamps; better lighting, particularly at night; excellent rain; more active crowds and selectable celebrations.

Player models are vastly improved too, with Ozil and Giroud’s likenesses particularly striking.

Of course, it’s usually FIFA that comes off best in the licenses stake, but this year PES 2017 has upped its game. The two teams Konami is currently permitted to license from the Premier League this year are Arsenal and Atlético Madrid. There are four from the Bundesliga too, but they’re not playable yet.

But, for the first time, PES 2017 will be introducing a custom kit editor to sidestep the licensing issues.

“I appreciate guys who play PES really want to have authentic kits,” said Adam Bhatti, PES’s global product and brand manager to Digital Spy, “but there’s some features in edit mode that we can announce later at E3 that will definitely appease that.”

Because FIFA 17 is still the official FIFA videogame, it’ll always have the edge here. We’re not sure what the full and official roster is as yet, but no doubt it’ll still win out in this round.

The biggest new addition to FIFA 17 is the new story mode known as The Journey. In it you play as Alex Hunter, an up-and-coming football star looking to sign with one of the Premiership Teams. But it’s up to you to help Alex achieve his dreams, because The Journey is actually all about your performance, the various decisions you make on and off the pitch and the ultimate story you weave.

You’ll also need to decide what position you’ll play – although they’re limited to attacking positions because we doubt a wing-back’s career would be quite so cinematic.

Professional players like Marcus Rashford and Harry Kane have been consulted to make sure Hunter’s journey is realistic too. EA has also sought out help from the BioWare team to make sure the narrative-driven moments are up to scratch.

But of course, there will still be the normal Career and Manager modes along with Ultimate Team. We’ve just not been given a look at those as of yet.

Strangely enough, Konami hasn’t talked about any of the modes coming to PES 2017. During our hands-on gameplay sessions, we only got to try the regular kick-off mode.

We hope we’ll see the return of the Master League along with PES’s answer to Ultimate Team, MyClub.

PES 2107 should also retain the Champions and Europa League cup competitions too.

We should hear more about the full list of PES 2017 modes before its September launch though.

The gameplay features coming to both games are so diverse, we’ve split the gameplay section of our PES 2017 vs FIFA 17 comparison into two parts.

For FIFA 17, EA Sports is focusing on improving the gameplay in various key areas, from improving the AI, recreating set pieces, enhancing attacking techniques and giving you better ball control.

In the set pieces, you’re looking at controlling exactly how the player approaches the ball for the first time, with the ability to change the camera angle as well. With free kicks, the camera now sits behind the player, allowing you to see the exact trajectory of the ball as you hoof it into goal.

For corners, things have got a lot more complex – whether that’s good or bad will be up to you – with an aiming reticle allowing you to guide the ball into the penalty zone more carefully and the option to switch to the receiver before you kick so you know your players are in the right place.

You can now also move up and down the sideline for a throw-in and even do a cheeky fake throw to put off the opposing defenders.

Here’s Everything That’s New In FIFA 17

Since FIFA 17 is going to be coming up this September, creative director Matt Prior has revealed a lot of stuff that’s going to be in the game when it releases.

Considering that FIFA is especially popular in Europe, it’s likely many gamers in those countries are going to make up a substantial portion of FIFA’s sales.

Heres Everything Thats New In FIFA 17

One notable thing about FIFA 17 is that it’s going to have a story mode, rather than a career mode for your team. In this story mode, called “The Journey“, you’re going to be playing as newcomer Alex Hunter, joining one of twenty different Premiere League teams as you make your way up the ranks. While it isn’t the first story mode EA has tried in a sports game, it may be going about it a different way.

Prior has said that the entire purpose of the story mode is to draw in possible newcomers to the FIFA series, who are put off by the game’s lack of a real story.

The way that NPCs like goalkeepers and referees act has also been improved in FIFA 17. Referees will adjust the severity of the penalties to the severity of the foul committed, and the goalkeepers have also had adjustments in how they move and react to scoring attempts by players.

For instance, if a number of shots are attempted in rapid succession players are going to see goalies jump up and around as they try to block each shot.

FIFA 17 also has a number of different adjustments to player movement, along with a faster paced-game because sprinting and running speeds have been increased.

A new type of low shot has also been added in FIFA 17 to add a new dimension to play, and you can also adjust the power of the kick before you actually perform it.

With all of these new adjustments hopefully, FIFA 17 will end up being the best FIFA game yet when it releases a few months from now.

collectionfifatips Community LiveStream July 19th – Riders of Icarus

riders of icarus

You’ve probably noticed we haven’t done BombLive in a while. Behind the scenes we’ve been working up another idea, one that’s a bit more interactive than just streaming, and we’re ready to go live.

Instead of a 1 hour stream of a game, we’re turning BombLive into an MMOBomb community event. On Tuesday July 19th from 5 PM – 7 PM Eastern U.S. time, the MMOBomb team will be rolling brand new characters in Nexon’s soon to be released MMORPG, Riders of Icarus. We’ll be playing on the North American server (will update with a specific server name if there ends up being more than one when the game launches in early July.)

Wanna play? Roll up characters with us and come hang out in game or just check out the stream on our official Twitch stream.

Come hang out for two hours with multiple MMOBomb personalities and have some fun leveling in a new free-to-play MMORPG. We’d love to have you party up with us!

collectionfifatips – Suicide Squad Trailer Re-created In League of Legends

Sometimes you just have to look at someone’s creation and say, “Yeah, that’s way more than I’d ever be willing to do,” and be OK with it. That’s how I look at YouTuber Elios Nex, who assembled a spot-on version of the Suicide Squad trailer using League of Legends characters, which he dubs “Surrender Squad.”

Sure, it doesn’t have helicopters or a train, but considering what he’s got to work with Elios Nex does a great job with his casting and matching of sounds from the trailer to LoL’s emotes. Jinx makes a natural Harley Quinn, and Brand is probably the best choice for someone who “burns people.”

You’ll have to see the rest for yourself, and compare it to the original trailer for the full effect. And if you’re wondering why this is being posted under the “News” tag… well, as Shaco would say, “Why so serious?”

collectionfifatips | Changes Coming To Make WildStar More “Alt-Friendly”

wildstar

Another WildStar DevConnect has come and gone and quite a few things have come out of it — the most interesting of which is the fact that the development team is looking at making changes to the way the game handles account-wide systems.

While the majority of these changes are currently in the investigation and planning stages, there are a few things that are being done now. To kick things off, Carbine is transitioning Promissory notes to an account-wide currency that can be used across all alts on an account. They are also expanding reputation turn-ins to include leveling factions.

The idea is that these changes will improve access to everything from decor to pets to gear while also making acquiring AMP and Ability points easier. In fact, they have provided a list of AMP Power Upgrades and Ability Tier Points that will be account tradeable. These include:

  • Shiphand’s AMP Power Upgrade
  • Crimson Badlands AMP Power Upgrade
  • Northern Wastes AMP Power Upgrade
  • Star-Comm Station AMP Power Upgrade
  • Prestigious AMP Power Upgrade 1
  • Renowned AMP Power Upgrade
  • Adventurer’s Ability Tier Point Unlock
  • Blighthaven Ability Tier Point Unlock
  • The Defile Ability Tier Point Unlock
  • Prestigious Ability Tier Point Unlock 1
  • Renowned Ability Tier Point Unlock
  • Arcterra Ability Tier Point Unlock (This will be made available on the Arcterra reputation vendor with an associated soulfrost cost)

More details on these changes, as well as an ongoing discussion, can be found on the WildStar forums.

collectionfifatips | Adventure Quest 3D’s “Biggest Update Ever” Arrives Tomorrow

adventure quest 3d

Adventure Quest 3D has a massive update hitting the servers tomorrow (June 21). The update, which Artix is billing as the “biggest update ever” for the free-to-play game, will introduce a new dungeon, monsters, NPCs, quests, and more.

The Umbral Caves is a level 10 (kinda) dungeon in the Bone Cliffs. It’s suggested that players attempt it with a full party of three and take along plenty of potions. The dungeon comes complete with all new monsters including the Ixtis Harvesters, a species of sentient insect-like creatures mostly found in caves. There are a variety of Ixtis, ranging from a queen who shares an empathetic connection with her people, to guards and workers.

Another addition is the NPC Lidria the Herbalist, located in Doomwood. Lidria offers a short quest chain that runs players through the Umbral Caves and unlocks more repeatable quests. She also sells a variety of potions in her shop that will come in very handy in the dungeon.

Additional changes, inclucing adjustments to crafting, the addition of treasure chests, and more can be read about in the official blog post.
